Fighting game Flash Star, author © HR Deml 2023 - new variation of the game Magicstar.
An exciting and challenging strategy game for 2 players on an 81 diamond board. The game is a combat game in which the star positions must be worked out at high speed using spatial thinking. The player's task is to close a star with their 9 game pins as quickly as possible.
A star is an arrangement of 5 cones with a center cone and 4 evenly spaced ray cones, which form either a cross ( ) or X (with a center stone).
Game accessories: Flash Star (played on a 20x20 cm diamond game board, free download for PC above) and 9 game cones in one color per player.
Rules of the game:
1. First, the starting player is chosen at random.
2. The starting player begins by placing the first cone on a diamond square in the playing field according to the strategy planning.
3. After that, the opponent places his first cone according to his strategy planning within a perceived time interval of 20 seconds.
4. This perceived time interval of 20 seconds must be observed after each completed setting of a game cone. If this time period is exceeded by a player, the opponent has won the game. If no clock (stop watch, kitchen timer, wrist watch, etc.) is available, the opponent is allowed to count audibly from 15 to 20 at a normal speed.
5. Once both players have placed their pieces, each player can only move one piece of their choice either horizontally, vertically or diagonally to form another Flash Star. An opponent's piece cannot be skipped over.
6. If no star can be formed after the game pins have been set, the game will be cancelled.
7. If a player was able to form a star (see example video below) or the opponent ran out of time, this player has won a round of a battle.
8. A Flash Star Battle has at least 3 rounds. The winner must win 2 games.
